Our History

We have been working as carpenters in Phippsburg since 2005, building a reputation for reliable craftsmanship and practical problem-solving on residential projects along the Maine coast. Over the years we have worked on everything from framing and structural work to finish carpentry, renovations, and new home construction, gaining hands-on experience with the unique demands of coastal building. Our work focuses on quality, durability, and attention to detail, whether it’s constructing new structures, restoring older homes, or completing custom carpentry projects. After nearly two decades in the trade, downriver carpentry brings a strong work ethic, field experience, and a deep understanding of the building practices needed to produce solid, long-lasting work for homeowners and contractors throughout the area.
